Welcome to the Blacksmith's Arms, Lastingham.
Set in an idyllic location opposite St. Mary's Church which is renowned for it's Saxon cript attracting thousands of visitors each year. The pub is in the National Park area dating back to the 17th century retaining many original features including exposed beams and an open fire place creating warm atmosphere to locals and visitors alike. Hils, Pete and the front of house team are passionate about real ale and real food and can offer advice on the products we serve including any special dietary needs.
Our chefs and kitchen team love food and pride themselves in producing quality home-made dishes using the finest ingredients supporting local farmers and producers. Our signature steak and ale and lamb and mint pies come highly recommended, using local lamb and beef combined with our home-made shortcrust pastry in 'proper Yorkshire portions'! We also offer an extensive lunch and evening menu and a 'Specials Board' which changes daily, and to round it off, choose one of our home-made desserts.
We can also provide food & refreshments outside of normal food service times for walkers, cyclists, concert goers, etc by prior arrangement. Please phone for further details.
